The
Dream-Maker Florist Flower List
Click on any of these individual flower pictures below to enlarge
the photo, view more information on both their available time of year and
their variety of color/s.
Many of
these flowers are limited to a particular season, so please ask your
florist for more information about availability and color variations
in each species. For example; even though there are so many
colors to choose from, you will notice only one mention and color of a
rose. Click on the rose photo and get information on
other possible rose colors. When clicking on other flowers'
photos, the months mention for availability can only be an estimate, because
unpredictable weather patterns can be a major factor on crops growing to the point of
harvest (outside of a controlled environment greenhouse), so
availability can only be a general estimate, subject to change.
For each flower's list of color/s, their colors can only be an
estimate, as well, because shades do vary a bit. At various times, flowers that are not in
season in the U.S. can be ordered from other countries, which can
increase their cost. Understand too, the photographer has picked
the very best floral subjects to photograph, to best show the flower
species at its peak, so the actual quality of the flowers may look a
bit different than you see in the photo/s.
The below
flowers are not arranged in order of popularity for bouquets, but
rather arranged in alphabetical order. * Please
read the information at the bottom of this page for greater
understanding of the floral industry and the possibilities therein.

* Note: Most
florists avoid publishing a flower list to avoid building-up a
client's expectation for a particular flower/color/shade/species and
then the day before their event arrives and the floral wholesaler notifies
the florist that the farmer's crop that was to include this
flower/color/shade/species did not come in as expected and that exact
flower/color/shade/species is not available, but there is another
flower that is very, very close that they can get from another farmer.
We wish flowers were as predictable as ordering light bulbs, but there
are unexpected circumstances that we, as florists, are subject to and
therefore have to let the clients know about the possibly of changes.
Also, the
gauge of how open the flowers will be is not absolutely predictable.
Some will open in one, two, or three days and others take longer,
depending on the time of year they're cut, etc.
Calla Lilies, for example, sometimes open as the photo shows above
(usually spring, beginning of summer) and other times they do not open
at all, more resembling rolled-up scrolls.
This is
just a short note/disclaimer; we can only be as good as the chain of
businesses that first grow the flowers, which season and weather
conditions are variables, the wholesalers that buy from the farmers
and then sell to us, the florist. So, please understand that
offering this list is generally a good thing, but it is subject to
change due to availability. Also, the colors you see on this
site may vary from the actual flower color, because computer screens
vary in color and contrast. Holding a dress up to the screen to
pick the perfect color may not result in a perfect color/shade pick.
Some of the above flowers are good for bridal bouquets and some are
better suited for vase arrangements.
Important:
Your chance of getting exactly what you want increases greatly with
placing your order well before your event (weeks, or months).
Now that
we have stated all the rare and occasional problems that could arise,
let us assure you that the Dream-Maker employees one of the best

Lake Tahoe estate owners (millionaires/billionaires), as being the
most talented florist they have ever seen. We are thankful he
